Replying to @RBReich: If we can afford a $740,000,000,000 military budget, we can surely afford to pay people to stay home to contain Covid.

Covid is resurgent and millions are about to lose unemployment benefits and their homes. But Trump is playing golfing and tweeting. McConnell is on vacation and doesn't care. And Biden won't start until Jan 20.

We have no government at a time when we desperately need one.

40,000,000 Americans are at risk of eviction.

Meanwhile, the Dow just jumped 400 points and hit a 30,000 milestone for the first time ever.

If that doesn't convince you that the stock market is not a reflection of the economy, I don't know what will.

Our government has given Big Pharma $10,000,000,000 of taxpayer money to develop a Covid vaccine, yet there's still no guarantee everyone will have access to one.

@JoeBiden: Please ensure all Covid vaccines will be freely and fairly available to all.

Even with the pandemic surging to its worst wave yet, food lines stretching for miles, and the prospect of a disaster relief bill nowhere in sight, the Dow jumped 400 points today and hit a 30,000 milestone for the first time ever.

The stock market is not the economy.

Thousands of cars lined up to collect food in Dallas, Texas, over the weekend, stretching as far as the eye can see.

If Republican Senators were personally facing hunger and eviction, how long would it take them to act?

Wyoming is 92% white.

California is 37% white.

A Wyoming voter has nearly 4x more influence than a California voter.

The Electoral College is racist. It must be abolished.

1) Elon Musk threatens to take away people’s jobs unless he’s allowed to risk their health

2) Tesla's market value skyrockets

3) Musk becomes the second-richest person in the world

Capitalism at its worst.

Elon Musk just became the second-richest person in the world. He:

—Illegally threatened to take away stock options if employees unionized

—Fired staff after telling them they could take unpaid time off

—Has had 43 workers' rights violations filed against his company since 2010

Is it enough that Trump faces possible prosecution when he leaves office? He degraded our democracy, divided us into warring factions, and fueled racism & hate. We honor ex-presidents with libraries and monuments. How should we remember the shame and disgrace of the last 4 years?

Despite Emily Murphy's dereliction of duty (and defensive and unprofessional letter), we can still celebrate that the transition can begin and the Biden administration can start preparing to tackle the multitude of crises they’re inheriting from Trump.

Replying to @MichaelSkolnik: Fitting that Trump got someone else to concede for him. Coward in, coward out.

Even after Biden won 306 electoral votes, Trump's harebrained lawsuits got dismissed, and pointless state recounts confirmed that Joe Biden had won -- it still took the threat of getting questioned by @RepKatiePorter to get Emily Murphy to do her job.

Georgians: If you turn 18 by January 5, 2021, you are eligible to vote in the run-off elections that will determine whether we take control of the Senate from Mitch McConnell.

You have until December 7 to register to vote.

Please tell your friends.
