We're not talking about *honorary* degrees here. We're talking about the actual degrees that folks *earned* years ago. The degree is a testament to what they did back then, not some sort of seal of approval of their careers.
Revoke their senate seats though. 100%.
@RuthMalhotra @RollingStone @TIME @WSJ I hear ya, Ruth. It's a crazy time. As a Dem living through the debacle of the last 4 years, I've enjoyed and prospered from new, surprising sources: @SykesCharlie @monacharen @BillKristol @DavidAFrench et al. What exactly IS my political affliation @ this point? Up for grabs!!!
For those R senators who would otherwise vote against conviction, I highly recommend this approach.
Conviction in the Senate requires 2/3 vote "of the Members present." So if, say, 25 Trump supporters boycott the proceedings, only 50 votes are needed for conviction.
On this week's @BulwarkOnline Beg to Differ with @monacharen, @crampell and @JVLast join @DamonLinker and @BillGalston to discuss impeachment 2.0, deplatforming (pro and con), and prospects for Biden.
What happens when two conservative icons reflect on the past week? Dynamite! Listen to @SykesCharlie, @monacharen, and @pennbarker on @BulwarkOnline. Straight talk from veteran political pundits who were early @NeverTrump advocates. Clear-eyed analysis!
