I dont know if Cawthorn’s disability impacts his fine motor skills, but people with dysgraphia, and also many people with dyspraxia have difficulty with handwriting, especially in cursive. This isnt funny. You can make fun of him for being a nazi without being ableist.
Privileged and marginalized people really seem to be having two totally different conversations when talking about burnout. And because we often internalize and center privileged people's experiences, it's also easy to assume that we're talking about those experiences constantly.
Right now I am remembering this moment in 1995 when disability justice activists, Puerto Rican and asian activists, CUNY students, AIDS activists and so many others coordinated to block four bridges and tunnels in NYC at rush hour to oppose budget cuts.
