Michigan’s attorney general charged former Michigan Governor Rick Snyder with two counts of willful neglect of duty over the lead-poisoning of drinking water in Flint city - the first person to face criminal charges over the crisis
@Reuters UP TO a year in jail and a $1000 fine. Sounds more like performative "justice."
@AdamHornack @Reuters When this happened, the city was being run by an emergency manager, appointed by Snyder. The mayor (Dayne Walling) and city council had little/no power. We moved out of Flint 6 mos. before all of this went down.
@Reuters Extremely important new scoop on Rick Snyder:
@Reuters I’m wondering where all the money went. Through donations alone, they’ve collected enough to fix the water issues 3 x over yet it’s still undrinkable!??
@Reuters Its ridiculous, taxes are made to assist people in the area to state and county or city and federal. To just overlook this is mind boggling or a disgrace or criminal in intent or questioning usage of tax dollars on many levels watch dog and sniffing out perps
